QR Creator Privacy Policy

The short version: 13 Bricks QR Creator collects no data. Nothing about you, your device, or the QR codes you make is sent to us or to anyone else. Everything the app creates and remembers stays on your device.
Who we are
13 Bricks QR Creator ("the app") is made by 13 Bricks Technologies ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information. If you have any questions, email us.
Information we collect
None. The app has no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. It contains no third-party software development kits that collect data. We do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any personal information or usage data.
Information stored only on your device
To work, the app keeps some information in its own private storage on your device. This information never leaves your device and we cannot see it:
- Saved QR codes. Codes you choose to save to History, including their content, styling, and a preview image.
- Settings. Your preferences, such as appearance, sounds, haptics, and auto-save to Photos.
- Usage counts. Simple counters and achievement progress, such as which QR types you use most, so the app can list them first and decide when to show a tip or ask for a rating.
You can delete saved codes from History at any time. Deleting the app removes all of this information from your device.
Photos
- Saving codes. When you tap Save (or turn on auto-save), the app asks permission to add images to your photo library. It only adds the QR code images you save and does not read your library.
- Adding a logo. When you pick an image for the centre of a code, you choose it in Apple's photo picker. The app receives only the image you select, and it stays on your device.
Internet access
Creating, previewing, and exporting QR codes works completely offline. The app does not send the content of your codes anywhere. A few buttons open other apps: "Email us" opens your mail app, and "Privacy Policy" opens this page in your browser. What you do in those apps is covered by their own privacy policies.
Scanning the codes you make
A QR code simply holds the text you put in it, such as a website address or Wi-Fi details. Anyone who scans a code you share can read its content, so only put information in a code that you are happy for its viewers to see.
Apple
The app is distributed through the App Store. Downloads, updates, and ratings or reviews you submit through Apple's prompts are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We only receive the aggregate, anonymous statistics that Apple provides to all developers.
Children
The app does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Because the app collects no data, a change cannot affect information we hold about you: we hold none.
